Consist of 2 each number of each suit from 9 through Ace. Example two - 9 of diamonds, two - 9 of spades, two - 9 of clubs, two - 9 of hearts.
Pinochle is one of the all time favorite North American card games. It involves winning the trick on each round and melding certain combinations of cards which have point value. (Pinochle has some similarity to whist, hearts and spades.) It is an all-around great family card game for ages 8 and up. Often played with groups of adults as a very social game. Pinochle has a reasonable level of strategy.
