Challenging Cryptograms by Helne Nash is jam packed with 400 quotes of famous people that have been turned into Cryptogram Puzzles. Cryptograms are a deciphering / substitution style of puzzle. One letter in the alphabet is substituted for another letter (consistently throughout each individual Puzzle). So the letter A may equal a J, the letter S may equal M.
Most Cryptogram Puzzles in this book are one or 2 sentence puzzles with 15 to 35 words. This paperback book measures approximately 5 3/8 x 8 1/4 inches; 128 pages, paperback. Solutions included.
For those new to Cryptograms we recommend looking at the solution for only the first word in the Crytogram. This is usually enough to get new puzzlers started. Recommended for inquisitive minds ages 14 to 137 years.
