Square Root Puzzle is a slider / switcher puzzle which can befuddle even some of the best puzzlers. The object is to slide the pieces around within the wood frame and attempt to get the large thin square (which starts at the top center of the frame) to the bottom center of the frame and out the open slot. Players are on the honor system. One cannot lift puzzle pieces or twist pieces. Only sliding or shifting the pieces within the frame is permitted.
This puzzle can be solved with as few as 96 moves; however the average person could easily take 96,000 slides or moves to solve. This attractive hard wood puzzle looks great on a desk, bookshelf or coffee table. When dinner is running late take out this puzzle to entertain friends!
Constructed of Light to Medium, full-grained hard wood. Frame measures approximately 7 1/4 x 9 inches x 1 1/4 inch thick. Felt bottom. Instructions included. Solution can be obtained from the manufacturer.
