Mancala African Stone Game : Strategy

Mancala, sometimes called the African Stone Game, is one of the oldest and most widely played games around the world. This beautiful hand-crafted, hand-sanded and hand-stained wood board has a a look as if it were handed down from your great great grandmother. Board measures approximately 16 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches. This is a two player strategy game. The object is to accumulate the most stones in your large bin (at either end of the playing board). The game rules are simple enough for a seven year old but intriguing and challenging for all ages. The game includes 48 multi-colored semi-transparent "Gem-stones" used in play. They resemble flat marbles. Includes soft suede drawstring bag to store gem-stones. Complete rules. A mounting slot of the back allows this beautiful board to hang on the wall. Mancala also goes by the name Kahla, Wari, Sowers Game. CHOKING HAZARD. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN 36 MONTHS AND YOUNGER. SMALL PARTS. NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN.
