Enjoy playing Chinese Checkers with this deluxe, hand-crafted in the USA playing board. This is the most beautiful and well constructed board that we have ever come across in 20 years of business. Chinese Checkers is the ancient game where players reverse their pieces with your opponent's. First player to relocate their ten pegs in their opponent's home triangle wins the game. The 121 holes in the game board resemble a star. Most moves are accomplished by jumping over any other pegs on the board in a straight or slightly angular direction. The great thing about Chinese Checkers is a turn where a player searches for a jump over 4, 6 or maybe even ten other pegs in one move. Longer jumps get your pieces moved faster across the board.
Board measures 16 inches in diameter, 1 inch thick, with colorful 2 1/4 inch pegs. (total of 60 pegs). Includes instructions. These boards are of superior construction, hand crafted with unique geometric patterns using various domestic and imported hard woods (all from sustained sources). Game Board is finished with multiple coats of clear lacquer to enhance the natural beauty of the wood. It is a real work of art and sure to complement any decor. No stains, paints, or dyes of any kind are used. Pegs are painted with bright child safe colors. Peg color, board design and hardwoods used will vary (from the photo) as these are hand made and unique from batch to batch.
