KenKen Puzzle Book Vol 1 Easiest : Puzzle & Logic

KenKen Logic Puzzles, the newest replacement for Sudoku has finally reached the shores. KenKen Volume 1 Puzzle Book is the first in the series and comprises easy puzzles suitable for starters. KenKen puzzles have a square grid; 3 x 3 or 4 x 4 or 5 x 5 etc. The inside of the KenKen grid is divided into cages (sections). The cages are outlined in heavy black. Each cage has a single specified number (positive or negative). The sum of all the numbers used within each cage must equal this specified number. Additional the numbers in every column and row must be unqiue. Repeating the same number in any row or column is not permitted (this is where the similarity to Sudoku ends.) A 3 x 3 grid will only use the numbers 1,2 and 3. A 4 x 4 grid will use the numbers from 1 to 4. KenKen puzzles are easy to learn, they have great depth, variable in difficulty from easy to extremely difficult. KenKen puzzles are mentally soothing and can become very addictive.
