KenKen Puzzle Book Volume 3 Easy to hard is perfect for logic puzzle enthsuiasts as well as anyone who likes to maintain a sharp, alert and well exercised mind. KenKen puzzles are designed with a square grid; 3 x 3 or 4 x 4 or 5 x 5 etc. The numbers placed in every column and row must be unqiue. Repeating the same number in any row or column is not permitted (this is where the similarity to Sudoku ends.) The inside of the KenKen grid is divided into cages (sections). The cages are outlined in heavy black. Each cage has a single specified number (positive or negative). The sum of all the numbers used within each cage must equal this specified number. Sometimes it will be the result of multiplying or dividing the numbers within the cage. A 3 x 3 grid will only use the numbers 1,2 and 3. A 4 x 4 grid will use the numbers from 1 to 4. KenKen puzzles are easy to learn, they have great depth, variable in difficulty from easy to extremely difficult. KenKen puzzles are mentally soothing and can become very addictive.
