Stratum Strategy Wood Game is a game where coming out on top The player with the greatest number of their colored pieces showing when the game ends wins. The game plays in ascending layers. On each turn a player places one of their 4 hex-sectioned pieces on the board horizontally, vertically or diagonally. All the wood pieces are identical in shape and size. Follow a few simple stipulations. 1.) Cannot start a second level of pieces until all possible spaces are used in the lower level. 2.) A new piece placed must cover at least two different pieces on the level below (It is okay if the pieces below are the same color.) 3.) Pieces may not be left in the air. They must be placed on the game base OR rest fully on pieces the level below. 4.) Once a space is empty on a lower level there is no way it can be covered on the above levels. This remarkable game will test your planning and building abilities. You will both love and hate the restrictions. Recommended for ages 8 to 137 years. Suitable for 2, 3 or 4 players.
