Pegged Chinese Checkers is the favored design version of this game because pieces will stay in place with an accidental bump of the table, unlike versions using marbles. Chinese Checkers is the ancient game where players reverse their pieces with your opponent's. First player to relocate their ten pegs in their opponent's home triangle wins the game.
The 121 holes in the game board resemble a star. Most moves are accomplished by jumping over any other pegs on the board in a straight or slightly angular direction. The great thing about Chinese Checkers is a turn where a player searches for a jump over 4, 6 or maybe even ten other pegs in one move. Longer jumps get your pieces moved faster across the board.
