Shut the Box is a simple to play strategy game. Anyone who can add to 12 will enjoy the exciting action of Shut the Box Game. This is a two player version with 12 flaps on each side. On each turn players get the opportunity to roll two dice followed by flipping up any one or more wood flaps which equal the total roll of the dice. Once a flap is closed (shut) it cannot be touched or opened. Players continue to roll the two dice until such a point where no further wood flaps can be flipped up. Low score (the remainder of the unflipped flaps) wins the round.
Great game to help teach young children number combinations. Even better game for adults who enjoy an occaisional wager. This deluxe two person, double sided, twelve number version is ideal for speeding up the game. There are Fewer turns as each player has their own side of the game board. Recommended for ages 8 to 137 years. Wood game board measures approximately 13 x 11 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches. Includes 4 dice and instructions.
