Bananagrams Game : Word & Letter

Bananagrams Crossword Tile Game is a take-anywhere, play-anytime, compact, easy-to-learn word building game. Every players draws 21 face-down letter tiles from the bunch in the center of the table. As one player announces "Split" everyone turn over their individual tiles and starts to build a connecting grid of words (just like a crossword puzzle would look). The game gets exciting because everyone is playing (forming connecting words with their own tiles) simultaneously. As soon as the first player uses all 21 letter tiles they say "PEEL" and everyone must draw an additional letter from the face down tiles. Rearrange your letters / words as often as you dare ! Keep in mind the more letters you have drawn the longer it may take you to re-build your crossword. Game ends when all letters in the center have been utilized and a player completes their word grid. Use misspelled or incorrect words and you get labeled as a rotten banana (and possibly moved close to the garbage bin.) The game continues among the other players. Game includes 144 smooth, ivory tiles with embossed letters (not silk-screened), instructions and yellow nylon storage bag (zippered and banana shaped) . Perfect for 2 to 8 players ages 8 to 137 years. Great for travel, camping, summer barbecues, passing time. Can be played in 5 to 30 minutes.
